2 bones, but important usability flaws:
- The filename is not automatically filled in when uploading from the gallery (existing photos). This results in photos on Flickr with zero information unless i manually enter something when uploading, which i don't ever desire or have time to do on my phone.
For the record, i simply want a way to directly upload images from my phone to Flickr, without being filtered (original files), via the fewest clicks possible. And i prefer to keep filenames intact with the photograph. Automatic upload subsequently taking a pic using the default photographic camera app like Google+ would be groovy! Beingness able to set default/global tags or info that are automatically filled in would be overnice also (such every bit "From my phone", "OptimusV", etc.) Flickroid already does most of this well enough [world wide web.flickr.com/services/apps/72157623092837878/]. I may switch back if these things are not fixed soon.
- The upload notifications are broken. Yes, information technology shows the progress, and that it completed. But that's information technology. The blue progress bar remains with "Upload completed" below in small light gray text — information technology looks awkward, unfinished, every bit if it'south stuck. I feel like the bar should be gone one time it's complete. If i click the notification, i expect to be taken to the photo in app or Browser, or something. Only all i become is a meaningless popup showing the aforementioned 100% progress bar and the filename (huh? see offset signal), and the buttons Cancel and OK. Hey, did yous get the memo? It's almost 2012 — don't use "Cancel and OK". Ah, but Cancel is disabled. The merely choice is to click Ok, which only closes the popup. Even so the notification remains. Huh? The merely way i run across to clear information technology is to apply the Clear Notifications push button on my phone. Super tacky.
And since this Flickr app seems to exist running constantly (why?), i don't see why i shouldn't be getting Flickr action notifications (comments, likes, contact uploads, etc) on my telephone.
Phone: LG Optimus V (VM670)
Android: two.2.1
Flickr app: 1.0.8639
Thanks.

Hi
Oddly, the app is available in the Singapore Android Market - non much else is..
Brilliant! A few comments:
Moving the app to external storage would really help on my HTC Desire, 2.2 Android.
Admission to groups would be the next feature I'd look for.
I've tried sharing images to Tumblr, and this works actually well, ensuring a make clean link back to the originator'southward Flickr folio and stream.
On the 'Contacts' tab, we only see recent uploads by our contacts. It should be made very easy to quickly view all of your contacts, your friends, or your family. Currently 'all contacts' is tucked away in the 'You' tab. Easy access to contacts is surely of import to a social/sharing network?
Are we only seeing the nigh contempo four images by each contact just because it happens to fit? It would exist dainty to practise a 'mini-swipe' on a contact's images to slide all new since last login.
It would exist slap-up to run into Collections and Sets, as well equally the stream. The organisation of my photos makes no sense if y'all expect at sets, just is much more than logical if you commencement from collections.
I really similar this: contactswhohavefaved
It would be keen network building to idly browse through something like this on the motorcoach or railroad train or any.
Thanks!

*Staff*: Is there an official position on this effect? It's been mentioned many times on every page of this thread, yet it seems to be the one issue that hasn't been directly addressed past anyone on the staff/development side of this app.
Furthermore, it'southward an admittedly critical issue, as those of usa who are experiencing the trouble cannot use the application at all.
Also, as information technology is clearly just a lack of support for OpenID/Google/Facebook logins, it spans the entire client base of all devices. It unquestionably affects an overall percentage of Flickr users who choose to login this way, or even, as in my case, created their Flikr accounts with one of these other logins and thus do not actually have Yahoo-specific login credentials.
What I'k maxim is that there'southward nothing we can exercise most information technology, short of scrapping our electric current accounts and starting over with a Yahoo account outset- which merely isn't an acceptable option for many folks. It doesn't thing what phone I buy, what release of Android I employ, whether I root or not, etc. nothing tin can help me...considering the app doesn't know how to let me log in to my account.

I proceed getting a "Failed to think your share info" every time I want to upload. I was really hoping to be able to auto-cantankerous-post to my wordpress weblog, merely if information technology tin't retrieve my share info, that's not going to happen. Was hoping this would be an Instagram replacement at present that they're owned by Facisctbook ;P Ah well. At to the lowest degree I can use ifttt.com to cross-postal service it. Not the stop of the globe. Oh and I'm on a Dell Streak running 2.iii.three. It would exist great if you could support the forepart facing photographic camera, too. :)
Also, I'd like to asking full-size pictures in the "Contacts" and "You" sections. Those thumbnails are too small even on my 5 inch screen. While I'm at it, I'd similar to see bigger thumbnails on the daily digest email I go. I hate squinting so much. Why do y'all retrieve I got the Streak with it's giant (but nevertheless pocketable) screen? Think about what made Instagram a huge success. Thank you!

Hello,
- I would like to be able to meet the groups I vest to
- I take a problem that when someone from my contacts adds a photograph it is visible in the contacts page, I can open it but when I try to get to that moving-picture show from a previous one information technology looks like it wasn't there and tells me that I'k already at the offset moving-picture show (at the flick folio and in full screen mode as well). If I'grand at such a picture I tin't coil to previous one.
Thanks
